Plakar is a performative interpretation of 'Rhythm 0' by Marina Abramovic.
'Plakar' is the name of closet in Serbian, which her mother would lock her in if she behaved badly as a child. Marina herself describes this Plakar as a place filled with terror, but also a place where she could find comfort.
Non-newtonian liquid shares this duality. It can be made of cornstarch and water, two harmless materials that together change their characteristics. Depending on how you treat it, the liquid alternates between fluid and indispensable.
